I am proud of saying my speech clearly . My goal is eye contact. How I am going to achieve my goal is to look at the back and over people.

We need Colour

Have you heard the saying ROY G BIV

This is a saying to help us remember the colours of the rainbow

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet

When you look at the rainbow, what do you see? How do you feel?

What do colours mean to you?

Colour matters! Imagine a world without colour. Everything would be black and white.Wouldn’t that be boring! Imagine if you looked out the window and all you saw was a grey sunrise. Instead of our beautiful sky, you saw white clouds against a grey sky.

wouldn't it make you feel sad and depressed.

Colours help us stay safe. Just think about how we use colour on our roads. Look at traffic lights. When they are red, we know we have to stop and wait for the green light to tell us to go. Without colour, you would not know to go or stop . Everyone would crash.

Imagine a fire. If there was no colour how would you know if there was smoke or even flames. Because smoke can be hot ... so you would be in danger and you wouldn’t even know it.

Picture this ... I look in the food bowl and everything looks the same colour! We need colour in food. Why? Because how could you cook if you don’t know what you are using ... like a apple and an orange! Or white rice or brown rice? Or chinese noodles and spaghetti?

Did you know that different coloured foods have different vitamins and minerals. These keep us healthy. So we need colour!

Plus colour helps us tell the difference between rotten and healthy food. I’d rather eat healthy colourful food! What about you?

My school talent contest

I am really excited about Apiti's  got Talent because I am playing guitar and this is my first time. I am learning how to play guitar and I chose Hokey Tokey because it is an easy song and it only has two cords. I was sede and I hope I get a good plase I like it becos bocrk mum saing she was tina turner

Golf Tournament

I am good at putting because I can get the ball close to the hole. I am not good  at doing long shots. I was  not too bad at teeing off. We learnt golf at school with a lady called Karen. She taught us how to address the ball. Left hand, right hand, big step, little step, tilt, pop, drop, fire. She taught us putting and you have to go a bit more down with your hands.
We got to Fe idling golf  course from Karen and we went around in a group of 6. We missed one hole. I enjoyed the most favourite bit to cooperate with others.

Travis and David

On Monday David came to my house and we all watched tv . On the way to colect the wood a bit of sawdust got on my eyebrow. We nearly went to hospital but luckily we got it out and we went to the X-box.

Fishing on camp/Travis

First we set up the fishing rods. Then you throw it into the water and now if you get a tug on your line you yank it so the fish is on the hook.    
At the start bit it, if you get a fish, it is a bit tense. One thing though, you  need to be patient.
Slimey  slippery bluish! I wondered what it could be. It was a Blue cod!

During the first afternoon we went fishing for an hour and a half. We were just sitting there, waiting for a fish to bite. But nothing was biting or fighting for the food.
So we started to pack up. Suddenly we caught a fish and we stopped packing. We ran to the fisherman. We got a fish, but it wasn't a blue cod. Every one started to go back fishing.
Blue cod after blue cod was caught but we only got to keep two because the others were too small. We ate it. Boysie gave us some fish too.

Travis and Bailey

As me , Derek and Bailey were relaxing Tyler and  Huntah turned up finally we went on the. X-box 360 and Huntah asked if he could go on the psp fen Derek and Tyler went to the motorbike me/Bailey and Huntah continued playing then Huntah went out side and me and Bailey went out side to watch the motorbikes and went back inside and watched tv.
